There's a clear lack of an acceptable theory for the missing $10K from the dataminer's results, which are the only surely unbiased results in this whole thread. Nothing presented makes thus far any sense (ie PT may NOT have imported the 7 hands, but if those were the 7 hands he lost 10K on, then Rolan still wins).

It's easy - he got dealt hands UTG he didn't like, he left the table before the blind reached him, so his PT doesn't import the hand, whilst datamining would.

It doesnt account for the difference in money, though. If this were the only piece of information I had, I would also find this to be strong evidence. I.e. g2cu's PT has him up 10K, but at 200/400 he is only down 40K while the data miner has him down 50k with 7 extra hands. That's pretty good evidence that g2cu's DB is missing 7 hands in which he lost 10K. However, I am NOT basing my belief on g2cu's pt stats. I'm basing it on the PM he sent me in which he very specifically told me his FTP account balance before and after the session. The fact that his PT stats line up with the PM indicate to me that they are probably accurate and therefore the data miner's seemingly reliable stats are probably off somewhere.

how hard would it have been for g2 to say "okay, if i hadn't played these 7 particular hands, i would have $10,xxx more in my account" and PM you those figures, then later doctor his PT stats to remove those 7 hands and therefore reflect the same numbers? very easy, i say.

i'm not saying this is the case, i'm just saying you shouldn't expect rolen to pay you based on a PM from g2. actually, based on everything i've seen, as well as the complete withdrawal of g2 from the situation (you'd think such a balla would put a little effort into saving face), i'm thinking rolen's gonna win this bet handily if a dataminer ever comes through with the info.

i agree with most everything ggbman has said in this thread. esp the part that rolen would be making a terrible bet if he let it be settled by a 2p2 vote.

i think that would be similar to BLUFFTHIS taking a poll after his roll in the brandi thread. bc although he was making good points, the examples and extra info he included in his posts looked bad and people got angry at him for it.
