The key word is FAR better.
The only one to qualify so far is "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan"! Many of the movies mentioned are slightly better, but not far better.

I have a better question: name a series that had 2 great movies and they didnt make a third (for example, T1 and T2 before T3 was announced).
