[ QUOTE ]
After dinner Barry Greenstein showed up and took the seat on Ivey’s left with 30K in chips, and another young kid (who I found out later was a 2+2’er) took the seat on his left with 30K also.

[/ QUOTE ]

it was me! what seat were you in?

[ QUOTE ]
It didn’t take long for the 2 big stacks to go at it, and much to my surprise they got it all in with blinds at 150/300 they played a 60K pot. QJ for the 2+2’er and TT for Barry. When the flop came QJT Barry overbet the pot and the kid raised all-in. Barry called, had his hand hold up and went to 60K in chips.

[/ QUOTE ]

ouch.

Great report. Congratulations! I do have one question though. Can you post what you remember of the details of some of the hands where Phil Ivey was stealing your blinds? If he literally did it 4 or 5 times in a row, it seems like pushing with any two would have been very +EV for you.

Hey Man,

I wish I'd known it was you. If you could read my mind then the call is fine, because I was going with any A, decent K or connectors, You're way ahead of most, but I'm pretty sure against most you're in trouble.

[ QUOTE ]
He had 1800 left, and I would be left with around 7K if I called and lost. I was pretty sure I was going to call, when the guy in the 10 seat who talked after every flop, describing what he would have had if he had stayed, said, “oh I would have busted him” indicating to me he had either the flush or an 8. To me that made it even more likely that my buddy was bluffing and I called. He had pocket 7’s and I was up to 14K.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I was the guy bluffing w/ 77 I would have raised all hell about the guy talking while not in the hand. But there would probably be no recourse for me.

Thoughts?
