I'm a such a [censored] idiot.

Pretty much. I'm glad it took this instead of you swerving off the road and killing someone for you to learn your lesson.

But seriously, 6+ drinks and you take the wheel? You are a [censored] idiot. What went through your head?

You are the type of person I openly detest, absolutely zero regard for what your drunken state can do to potentially harm another perfectly innocent person. Yes, people make mistakes, but you need to look dead cold in your face in the mirror next morning when you take a shower and thank God or whatever the hell you believe that you aren't incarcerated for running over some 8 year old girl.

People...

[/ QUOTE ]

Ever drive tired, stressed, talk on your phone (including hands free) while driving, dude kill yourself now 8 bears over 6 hours is 0.05 if they are mid strength, if they are heavy (and as far as I know all american beer is weak as piss) then he'd still be very close to 0.08 which is in a better state to drive than any of the mentioned above things that I am sure you have done. Do you ever stop and think about how many sklansky 8 year old girls you've killed with your total disregard for responsible driving. In closing drink driving is bad, people in this thread are stupid, op is stupider. But so am I and nobodies perfect.

i made a long post saying pretty much the same thing, but i'm a pussy so i deleted it. but the cliff notes version was: clayton, you are a judgmental douchebag and are the type of person that I detest. everyone makes mistakes and he was probably borderline DWI. it's not like he was wasted

it's also possible that some people drive more carefully when they are slightly drunk for fear of getting pulled over. i know this is true in my case. there have been two instances in my life where i might or might not have been over the legal limit but the fear that i might have been kept me driving <5 mph over the speed limit, whereas i drive like an idiot when i'm sober. but i guess by clayton's logic, those 2 instances make me worthy of death and everyone who seems me should spit on me. just some food for thought

I completely agree Josh. Actually I just drove home borderline DWI and to a lot of people this sounds stupid, but I would definitely say that I drive better after having a couple drinks because I am so fearful of getting pulled over and losing my license. I think if I was to drive after having a couple drinks everytime that the world would be a safer place

To all of you people who are happy he was arrested:

I drink and drive constantly. In fact, I am going to do it more because you whined about it.

Yes, you drive safer, in fear of being arrested.

Yes, your reaction time has quadrupled.

Yes, your reaction was just a tiny little bit too late.

Yes, you've killed a human being.

Yes, you go to hell.

Yes, it hurts.
