They set that scene up well, it was clear what had to be done when lem was unwilling to go south. After the prior conversation with vic, the audience was primed for it. Very nicely done/
Hopefully we will have some quality vic shane drama next season. J |

Yea that's true. I thought vic knew about it by the way they were still waiting on lem for along time. But it does set up alot of drama between them next season.

Lem was still alive. That part almost made me sick. I think I heard him wisper Shane's name somewhere during his rant. [/ QUOTE ] That was the worst part of it. It would've been better if Lem could've died not knowing his friend betrayed him. In Heaven he'd go up to God asking "Wait how did I die... I was eating a sandwich my friend Shane got for me and then I blew up..." "Uh.. well, you see.. your car, just, blew up for no reason.." RIP Curtis "Lemonhead" Lemansky: 2002-2006. |

A+ to Walt Goggins' performance tonight. All the things he was going through in that warehouse scene with Lem... talking about Mara being pregnant, absolutely torn and conflicted about what he was going to do. All the things he did when he was on his own in Vice, messing with Antoine... Shane Vendrell is such a tortured character -- well done Goggins.
Yeah I agree that it was great to see Dutch learn about mastering women from the pimp and then using it on Tina. I dunno about Claudette denying Dutch's transfer because of the Lem murder; it just seems like an easy way to drop that subplot. I really disagree that Vic knew what Shane was up to. No way -- this was Shane's call. Vic's reaction upon seeing Lem's body was sincere shock. In fact, I thought he was going to turn on Kavanaugh and blame him -- give him the "are you happy" speech that Kavanaugh turned on Vic. It seems that with Lem dead, the case against Vic, Ronnie, and Shane will be empty, and the chief won't go to war looking into the money train stuff. But they will investigate the Lem murder -- I just suspect Shane and Vic will pin it on the Salvadorian (with Emolia's help [sp? the CI]), but then when Vic finds out Shane did it (maybe Mara will squeal?) he will turn on him and we'll get a big-time brawl. |

There is no way Vic has any idea at this point that Shane had anything to do with this. He may start to piece things together if he realizes that Kavanaugh only had one flunkie with him at the murder scene to tail them with.
With how suspicious Ronnie was of Lem for the second half of the season, I wonder if Vic might turn to him first as a suspect if it looks like it wasn't retaliation for the grenade busts. |

I have watched and loved this show since the pilot. I will never watch another episode again. I have never been this pissed off about a TV show before. Just retarded, I am at a loss for words.

WOW, great great finale. There has been specualtion that this would end up being the last season but I guess that can be put to rest. Vic has no clue, Shane didn't even know what he was going to do until he realized he wasn't being tailed. While there is a lot of discussion on whether Vic is a good guy or not, I think there is zero doubt that Shane has zero redeming qualities.
Getting police ride with drugs stolen- [censored] up Tavone- [censored] up Getting into bed with Antwone- [censored] up Killing Lem- [censored] up I guess Vic is the father. The actress who plays Emilia(sp?) is very good. She oozes fear the entire time shes onscreen. |

It's going to make Shane alot less likable now that he killed one of his own boys. [/ QUOTE ] FYP ...and I don't even think that makes him a lot less likable. He was so torn up about it, and is going to spend every day for the rest of his life knowing what he did and hating himself for it. And he knew it was gonna be like that before he did it. No, that doesn't make it right, but a lot of the [censored] that every character on the show does isn't right. There's no way that Vic knew. What did Dutch say to Tina at the end? I didn't even make the connection between pimp guy and what he said at the time so I don't remember. |
