AJmargine,

thanks for the great post, quite an inspiration as I have recently had to part with a large portion of my bankroll. Out of curiosity how many hands did all of the rebuilding take ? How much are you playing if you are only playing 2 tables at once ?

**shameless bump**...as I feel some of the newbies could use some encouragement and basic advice.

The update to this is that I now play NL100 6-max 5 tables. Haven't played full ring for quite awhile now.

Are you planning to wade in to mid-stakes waters soon?

I'd add this:

* Target big stacks who commit post-flop after raising pf. Come in with SCs, small pairs, garbage hands, against them. Implied odds are great.

** Stay away from short stacks, unless you have a very strong hand pf. Nothing pisses me off more than people who buy in for the minimum. So, screw them. Unless I have AA/KK/AK (maybe QQ), I'm not coming into a pot they raised pf. Implied odds are non-existant. These short stacks love to wait for AA/KK/AK, double their stack, and leave the table.

I can't seem to stop withdrawing $1k a week or so. Keeps my bankroll static. Been traveling the last month, so that's where my profits have been going.

Unfortunately, at the site where I play, shorties infest almost every table. You gotta get good at playing them without just waiting for the nuts.

as for berating players;

I will only do it when I pick up AA or KK right after I lost a big pot.

Then I'll say, "lets gamble you fish" in the chatbox, and push it in.

Other than that I shut up, or make friendly conversation.

Sorry, I meant nut-peddling short stacks with a VPIP of 4.

If they're run-of-the-mill fish, proceed as normal.

It looks so simple put this way ... (would like to keep seeing it like this in a few minutes).

Incredible, build back the bakroll in two weeks!. And for 100NL!. Also, very curious that was the first level.

regards,

dardo
