IMO people over-stress the impact of structure. Regular structure, fine. Irregular structure, that's fine too, because I think I can adapt to any structure irregularities better than my opponents do. There are a lot of other factors I'm more interested in when picking and choosing where to play. Such as rake and other expenses, location, softness of fields, and the biggest of all for me, variety in preliminary events.

This is where this festival falls short, because it's all full table no limit. Not for me thanks. If you don't mind this though, I can assure you that Johnny runs a great tournament.

Is Donna still offering the reduced rates over the weekend? Think someone said 70, 90, 90.

Labor day weekend is sold out at those rates. I called and Donna advised that the rates had been sold out for some time. So, if you are going Labor day weekend, there are rooms open at the Beau, but they're going to cost you almost 300 bucks a night to stay there.

Hence why in the end, I decided to go to the WSOP Circuit event in Tunica, where the top price for a room under the WSOP rate (see other thread in this forum), for labor day weekend, is only $115 a night (most nights otherwise, it can be as cheap as $45 a night).

Add that to the lower airfare from Denver and so on, I figured I'd save enough money on travel and lodging expenses, to pay for at least one $500 buyin for that weekend.

All I can say is that the trip to Biloxi will cost me twice as much as the one to Tunica. I'd rather be spending my money on poker, than on travel and hotel rooms.

What do you look like? If you are hot then you can stay in my room and all of our food is comped as well. In fact, you wouldn't have to pay for anything except poker. Oh, and I would need you to provide full body massages on demand.
Let me know.

If anyone wants some Ms Pacman competition while here, I'll be wearing a red shirt with black sunglasses hanging from my shirt pocket.
