40-year old virgin was awesome. Did you actually see it or just decide based on the title it was going to be silly? The only people I know that dislike it are women and even 90%+ enjoy it.
Also, the Office is great as well.

Bah, you're both right. I can't really argue either one of those points. I wish I could get to the root of why I don't find the recent hit comedies I mentioned funny, but it's hard to put into words I guess. Just nothing about them made me laugh even a little. Adam Sandler may play the same retard in every movie, but he makes me laugh and Will Farell doesn't. I spose I'll just have to leave it at that for lack of better explanation.

HOWEVER OP is clearly a comedy noob if he like Jim Carrey, who only made ONE funny movie his whole career.
