But if I understand correctly, there is about 35% chance of a Q in the other 10 cards (1-(1-2/47)^10)). Then for every $1 you bet you are collecting $0.65 from each caller and paying out $0.35 to the pot, on average. This is very simplified, ignoring other possibilities (e.g., AA, flush, etc). |

I like your play up until the turn. My first inclination is to fire again and fold to a raise, since a free card could be potentially disasterous. Also, in live play, if someone pops the turn, I think it's a Q something like ~100% of the time. However, if you check and one person bets, one calls and the action's on you, you're left with a legitmately tough decision. On the other hand, if you bet and then get raised, I think you can easily muck it assuming the players in question have no tricky to them (which is probably the case given the pink game.) |
