after seeing PG play on TV and a handfull of hands HU on FT, I can definitively say: He sucks. I don't think he even came up with the material for his book. Mind you, I haven't actually read the whole/any of his book but I heard some of it was good which leads me to think it was possibly a ghostwrite because Phil Gordon is not good.

theres a story by eugeneel a couple years ago where hes on a cruise playing 400/800 and this multimillionare drunk guy sits in and starts playing every hand and phil pulls him aside and says something like "what youre doing with your money is disgusting, you should stop." im pretty sure phil never knew the guy either.

Yeah Phil is terrible. That's why he's one of only about four players to have both a FT appearance in the Main Event and a WPT title to his name.

He doesn't claim to be great, yes he is annoying at times so are you and me, there are 150 other players I could name who are 1000 times worse for poker and more worthy of flaming.

I bet Phil Gordon has never thought about cheating, colluding, angle shooting, aggro-baiting or doing any of the other [censored] most of you punkshits and the big name players have probably done at one time or another that have given poker such a bad reputation.
