2/5 PLO has been going occasionally lately. My boy Karl sat in it the other night and sucked out pretty bad on someone (well, sorta), then bounced.

I've played the 2/5 PLO 2 of the last 4 weekends up there. game is min 300 max 1k and plays pretty deep depending on the composition of the table. saturday at one point there was over 15k on the table easily and they bumped it up to a 5/5/10 game, min 500 max 2k. it got a little out of my comfort level at that point, despite sitting with over 2.5k at the time, so i called it a night and booked the win.

there are some genuinely horrible players and some *hyper* aggressive (and very predictable) old guys who just constantly mumble about us kids not having enough gamble (i'm 24).

It was pretty awesome eh? You missed the royal flush over straight flush beat and the 555 flop that was a $3k pot for the guy w the 5 who just called all the way as the asian gent in the 1 seat potted it all the way w/ AAxx. It broke about 2am

Nice to meet you BTW

i saw this go down right after i cashed out and left for the night. how much did that pay?

Nice to meet you as well.

My wife works with photographers, so days she has long weddings = days I go play poker. I'm now prodding her to get as many saturday weddings as possible.

I'm sad I missed the beats. So SF / RF won the table the jackpot? Did the maniac to my left end up busto or robusto? He was in for 5k by the time i left, but had a pretty big stack.

I still say by far the sickest hand was the 3k+ pot AIPF 6778 vs KKT4

The bad beat on the omaha tables pays only $2500. I think the beat-ee got 50%, the beat-er got 30%. All the rest of us at the table got $70 ea. woot.

yeah that was sick, and I still am hating myself for calling off the $200 pf then folding to the re-re raise... ugh. Oh well I'm glad I still had an intact stack for the QQQ vs 333 hand, which made most of my night.

Still think the sikkkkkest was the very old laggy gent raised it, bet it, then won at showdown with only 55xx

The guy to your left was bust by the time I got a seat back at the table. The guy in the 8 seat had almost 10k before he racked out. It tightend up and became a limpfest for a while. Still, had a great time, left up about $2k

Did they get the Omaha jackpot on the straight flush hand?

EDIT: Yes. They did.
