DD - Well for me both, but I could dislike them based solely on Stapp. Look at that photo montage it's so horrible!

Yeah it's both, but also, creepiness to me is more forgiveable than douchebaggery. In a way, you feel that Mike can't help being a weirdass, but you can not be a douchebag.

Also, he made Thriller, man. Thriller.

i don't care if this is cool or not but i really like both of justin timberlake's albums and i don't care who knows.
the critics are mixed i think and no one really considers his stuff great, but.....

i have tons of "indie" cred with my friends and have a huge music collection and good taste with all of my favorite bands and songs.......but i feel like letting the world know the JT is a cool white guy who has made good solo albums is important for us all.

LOL. it is true. J.

At this point, JT has to have crossed the threshold from wussy boy in a boy band to badass. He banged Britney at the apex of her hotness, tagged Cameron Diaz's hot little ass for a couple of years and now he's working his way through the Hollywood A-list one by one.

J Brown,

JT is awesome and the whole world knows it.

My addition: Tegan and Sara. So bad, but whenever they come on the radio I can't turn it off. (a HS station here plays them a lot)

The guy has done absolutely everything right to transition from 'N Sync to where he is now. Picked the right producers, banged the right chicks, said the right things. Very impressive.

JT Anecdote: I was at Chicken Zankou with a friend (it's an Armenian joint in LA, best schwarmas and roast chicken ever), it's kind of ghetto but the food is fantastic. Anyway in walks JT who gets in line behind us. Line is long and he strikes up conversation with us, about how the line is always long but worth it for the food. Comes off as a friendly, nice guy.

Anyway turns out JT is at Zankou to pick up a bunch of food for his staff for some production company he started. I thought that was pretty cool considering what a huge star the guy is.

Who I actually thought of when I read this thread title for myself would be:

Barenaked Ladies
Drive-by Truckers
Cross Canadian Ragweed

[/ QUOTE ]

I love the Drive-By Truckers and CCR. Obv they're not considered great but Southern Rock Opera and The Dirty South (DBT records) got some pretty good reviews.
