Potential thread hijack.
Any UWers know if clap for credit is still being taught?
That was the best end to the week semester after semester.
That and the drinking- which wasn't so much an end or beginning as it was a continuum. Really short walk to the Terrace from there.
End potential hijack.

Drink [censored] guinness ldo.

Your in luck- I used to bartend and made all kinds of Guinness based drinks

1. Black and Tan- In a glass pour either Bass Pale ale or Harp lager or any lager or ale and then slowly add the guiness- the guinness should float on top-

2, Spider bite- in a glass pour Half Ace or any Apple cider beer and float half Guinness on top

3. Shandy- Half lemonade and half Guinness
4. Black and black -1 shot razzmatazz or chambord in a glass of Guinness
5.Trojan horse- half cola and guinness
6. black velvet- champagne and guinness
people used to mix it with Tomato juice

I like Guinness but cannot drink more than 1 or 2 in a night before I feel like I've just eaten a 24 oz steak so I rarely order it when out, just sometimes have 1 when watching a game or chilling at home. I like Boddington's Pub Ale these days, it's lighter and has a really creamy head (I knew describing it would get me in trouble). Even better than Guinness out of the can with that release system IMO.

OP

Drink a very WARM cheap, generic brand beer.

Then drink an ice cold guinness, you will get the taste for it back.
