I have used it a lot off and on for the past 10 years or so. I have had great success losing weight with the ECA stack, a lower-carb diet and a good balanced weight lifting/running routine.
The ECA does 2 things very well: it blunts appetite and it increases energy... so it's easier to get through the workouts AND easier not to pig out afterwards. In fact, I have a lot of trouble losing weight without the ECA stack... the appetite restriction alone makes it worth it, IMO. The energy and "wow!" feelings are just a bonus. |

It's not something you take to get energy for a workout, it is something that you take to lose weight. It increases your metabolism and decreases your appetite. You will be guaranteed to lose weight if you take it.
The side effects are that you will piss constantly, you will sweat profusely, you will feel dizzy/lightheaded sometimes, and sometimes it just makes you feel beat. The more you take the worse the effects are and over time they will lessen. I took the ECA stack about 5 years ago and I got more ripped than I had been since I was a wrestler, but I tried taking it again last year and the side effects were too much for me so I stopped after about a week. |

[/ QUOTE ] this is pretty much how i feel about it also. i love the stuff. is it still available in the usa? anyone pm me a link or something please. also, without getting to much into the dangers and risks associated with ephedrine. i think it is perfectly safe taken in moderation in healthy individuals. the chinese and indians have taken ephedra/ephedrine for 100's of years. also, aspirin is pretty much useless as part of a fat burning combo. |

do a search for "vasopro ephedrine"
you can still get it but now you have to fax in an ID form with a driver's license, and you're limited to 6 boxes per month, or something (I think each box has 24 tablets). |

Sweating and going through energy level swings suck when you have to live with them for 8 hours while getting work done. The first week or two really suck. |

I took this for a couple months in college back when it was legal. I did it for weight-loss purposes only. It really did work in reducing my appetite. I also made me feel jumpy, made it difficult to sleep, but sometimes made me feel more focused. But I realized that I really like eating and hated not wanting food. I wasn't overweight enough for it to be worth the trade off (I was...and still am...about 15-20 pounds overweight). So I stopped after finishing the first bottle. |

Since it's legal, someone should link to what they buy and use.

I remember a few years back a story about NHL players taking this or something similar to it before games.
