well, indian boy was underpriced (much more so when i bought him). i still think he is underpriced tho.

then there is an example of sundance, who i think is a bit over priced so i'll wait and see how the winds really blow with him. first audition was awesome. have seen nada since.

finally, the reason i suggest buying sligh is that he seems to be a lock for top 3, making his price right now perhaps the lowest you will EVER see. if he goes deep, his share price right this second will seem like a brilliant buy. he needs to be in the portfolio now. same reason for buying lakisha so early.

Trying to get some money on there now. Actually had a little bit in there I didn't even know about from last year.

I bought 5 Sundance at 6, based purely on his audition. My hope is that he will pick a song in his wheelhouse tomorrow night and get rave reviews from the judges. If so I think his value could go up. I get the impression that in Hollywood he was forced to sing songs that were not suited to his voice.

I've also got Chris, Sanjaya, Blake, and Melinda as my other main holdings so far. Plus a couple fliers on Leslie and Nick Pedro, which are probably dead money but I personally like them so figured I'd throw a few bucks their way.

Glad to see the real AI is finally starting!

Nick Pedro is actually a good singer but I can't stand him because he reminds me too much of every idiot meathead who thinks he is cool because he goes to clubs that charge a big cover and $9 for a [censored] Miller Lite.

Hmmmm . . . my take would be to buy the people I think will make the top six, then probably sell at that point. My list would include Chris Sligh (I don't really think he'll win, though), Lakisha Jones, Melinda Doolittle, Brandon Rogers and Gina Glockson (who I think is the most undervalued).

I'd definitely short Lewis and Barba at these prices. Honestly, I don't see Sanjay making the top six but would not be surprised to see him in the finals - he strikes me as someone who will go out somewhere around 7-9.
