Citanul,

are posts of hands that are so ridiculous with the action (aka hero folds and some guy calls 3 shoves with KT in l2) fair game here?

Still it's an interesting spot on the river. Different villians will vary quite a bit here on how likely they are to have a worse hand that will look you up. Also, if you check will villain bluff you off the hand or does he bluff enough that you can profitably call?

edit: Oh yeah, I forgot. I wasn't posting to see if anyone missed me while I was banned, and I was really banned. Be careful in this thread!

obviously it depends on the villain and the range that you put him on. i like mikes line a lot because a lot of villains will call with worse hands that they would have otherwise checked behind, making mikes bet purely for value (which i agree with). the more often you think that youre beat in this spot combined with the more often you think villain will bluff at the pot when you check, the more you should check the river (im assuming that youll never fold out a better hand).

I thought I was fairly restrained considering that I lost $5k in one of the worst 3 day stretches I've ever had (up $1k at the end of last night). But I guess anything is too much coming from me. I understand and accept that. Probably best to just ban me from this thread or STTF. Might be better for me anyway. I'm sure better for you guys.

suzzer,

you play 100 and 200 buyin games right? if -5k is your worst 3 day stretches you should spend all day sitting around masturbating thinking about what a great [censored] life you have because you run so good, not posting once every time you complete a sng that lengthens your current "no 1st place" run.

citanul

edit: a comment on "i thought i was pretty restrained": this is a comment that just feels like it can only come from someone who doesn't understand that the [censored] thread is not meant to be an ongoing personal blog for every poster in sttf.
