And I loved the episode, although it would have been 100x better if Gabe had shown the kings. [/ QUOTE ] That would have been great. Get the Mouth steaming. |

After so many months of anticipation, this season has started off horribly. That was probably the dullest episode of all time.

Doyle complains about extending Jamie Gold credit. Interesting. Or was he complaining about giving credit to Mike Matasow? Either way, interesting. [/ QUOTE ] That's the way I read it- Doyle didn't want to risk taking down the Mouth and being stuck with a $50K marker from Mike. I thought his later counter-offer confirmed that, since it spread the risk while getting an extra $50K on the table. ? |

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, getting Gabe into the game, the situation with Mike/Jamie/Doyle over playing behind, it was very entertaining. |

Anybody think that Gabe has an edge here? He's been sitting in the booth seeing how people are playing, now he should be able to use that information at the table.
I bet that's why Daniel wanted to switch places. |

I'm sure the whole thing was set up long before Kaplan and Benza ever started reviewing the tapes of the episodes for commentary. Meanwhile, I agree that this season hasn't started off too well. Things have to pick up, though, as players get the feel for the table and start to loosen up. I'm sure this will be especially true in later episodes when some of the other players get in. This crew seems more interested in face time in front of the cameras than they do in winning money. That can't be good for the game. |

Matusow is trying way too hard to market himself this season.

Ugh, I hated that Gabe coming out of the booth gimmick and Daniel commentating.
In the middle of the episode this blazing hot cocktail girl walks by and Sheikhan says something like "how you doin'" ; quite funny. |

This was my favorite episode so far. I like seeing the WSOP champ getting pushed around, everyone taking shots and Mike and now that Gabe is playing it should get more entertaining
