Going to have to let this play out.
Worst case, it could change Neteller's stance on doing business in the US quickly. Being a well regulated publicly traded company, this would mean some sort of orderly transition to close accounts and refund money. You might have to search for alternate methods of funding. Who knows what these guys have been doing since founding and leaving Neteller? It might be totally unrelated, or like I said originally, it might be these guys were not paying taxes. Neteller the company would go on, these guys go to jail, and maybe Neteller won't do business in the US after the regulating bodies make them cut checks to customers. |

LeFevre, a former hippie [/ QUOTE ] He was a hippie, he got what he deserved. He probably didn't register as a former hippie at the local police department when he moved into a new neighborhood, which is a class 2 felony in all states. But seriously, why do they even allow former hippies to live a free life today? Where is Frist when you need him the most? I hope all former hippies see what is happening to this guy and just turn themselves in while they still can! |

Read the article.
These two have nothing to do with Neteller anymore. They retired 4 years ago. |

I have confirmed this story to be true. I'm on the phone with Neteller right now, they are trying to get me a PR person or manager to discuss the history of John LeFevre, and when he left the company. As recent as November 2005 I found a press release with his name on it.
***UPDATE*** they are not permitted to release any information over the phone, however their corporate compliance department will disclose what they have to - if anyone is interested. PS: I will cross post this in the legislation forum as well, I think this is important enough to get the word out. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

dude, they already pointed out why your first post was deleted. And their reasoning makes complete sense. Like you say this is a "huuuuge" deal bla bla bla. So it makes a lot of sense to delete your post until something is validated and not after.

Yea, good reference to a totally unrelated issue.
Anyways, it appears that this arrest does not have anything to do with the legislation, and that it's probably more related towards tax evasion (why do you think they're canadian?) |

So actually arrested, or actually formerly connected to the company?
