Tron, If you feel you have no muscle on your body, then I think you would be best to try and gain some muscle mass, Then get really defined. Although I workout to get stronger and stay healthy, working out to have a more attractive body is equally if not more important to.

First part Hypertrophy
For each excercise do 4 sets 8-12, with a 90 second rest in between. It is good if you are almost at failure for each set, you want your muscles to be exhausted. Workouts should be about an hour and a half. Also eat as much as you can. If you are new to the gym you want to workout 3 times a week.

Second part, after about 1-3 months of the first (depending on much muscle you want to gain) is the definition phase. Here your goal is to cut down on the fat, and you will probably lose some muscle too.

Take 2 excercises, doing 30 of the first, then 30 of the second without resting in between. Eventually build each up to 50. After this you want to combine them all together so you are doing a continuous circuit with a lot of repitions. Probably do this 3 times a week, I forget the specifics exactly. I guess you could throw in some running after each workout.
