You're right. I prefer to have a new episode to rerun ration of 3:2 like most other shows - makes for much better viewing. 4 episodes who 2 nights? Pfffft, who are these clowns?

OK, how does this not make sense?

They want people to watch the show.
Watching the show requires dedication/obsession.

What better way to tie people into the show then have them watch the first 4 hours in 2 days?

I understand the marketing behind it. It's just that a premiere is ONE night, the first night, you can't have a two night premiere. It just comes of as if network knows the show stinks so they come up with this crap.

it just pisses me off how the president and ctu keep negotiating with terrorists in the same episodes that they say verbatim "we do not negotiate with terrorists." and this keeps happening.

What's so unbelievable about that? It's good to have a reputation of not negotiating with terrorists, it's good to negotiate with terrorists. Not contradictory.
