But then the tables won't pop-up when action is required, right?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, that's why it's good that your tables have no overlap.

I don't know why but that response made me laugh my ass off.

You are right microbob. On party the window would pop up but you could continue typing at a table that had lost priority.

Some of us like regular size tables.

Re-sizeable even a little bit doesn't really appeal to me.

I have absolutely no problem playing more than 4 tables by overlaying them over each other and having them pop-up when it's my turn.
Kind of prefer it that way.

but in order to do that I use the auto-pop-up thing when it's my turn.
But I don't think there is any reason whatsoever for it to have to steal the chat as it does.
It's incredibly annoying and I don't know why anybody would want it.

Ali - I saw your post in another thread about being frustrated when Stars wouldn't pop-up like it was supposed to.
Sometimes this might happen if you click 1 table at the exact same moment that your turn comes up on another table.
It happens so fast you might miss it.
Like when you click an auto-fold check-box for example.

Also, I had all kinds of problems with the party pop-up system if I overlapped the tables there.
The way that it works on Stars is almost perfect for me except for the chat thing.

for example, I can't do the same overlay thing on WSEX because it doesn't wait for you to complete your action on one table before popping-up the next table you need to act on.

I really hate when i'm multi-tabling and entering chat in one box. Then another table pops up and ruins my chat. GRRRRRR. party kept your chat in one box even if another had priority. at least until you pushed enter on that particular chat box.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, please fix this. Easily the most annoying thing on Stars IMO.

Things wrong with Stars:

- Game play is far too slow.

- The interface is far too busy, and the default chips, fonts and cards are too small. Party has clearer fonts, clearer chips, clearer stack and raise representations, clearer cards, and the appearance of speed. In other words, your interface appears slow and clunky, and you try way too hard to be cool. You're in the business of representing a poker game on a screen. Keep It Simple Stupid.

- Quit being smartasses. You don't have the best poker site. You were number two for a long time, and STILL haven't come anywhere near Party's numbers or money volume for ring games. That's because you need to:

- Quit being tightasses, and spend some money on advertising and affiliates. It's no surprise knowing your owners, but frankly, all they're showing is a very poor understanding of the poker economy, and costing themselves money in the process.

- Most other things you do well, but you need to start seeing the forest instead of the trees.

Stars, PLEASE implement "first available table" option in your waiting list like the way PartyPoker does. I usually play 9 tables and it's a PITA to join each waiting list individually.

Seems like Pokerstars is the only company that values its players and listens to their concerns so please go ahead and list anything that you feel should be fixed or altered.

I wish they would give us the option to turn off the doom switch that gets turned on by default after you make a cashout.

CASHOUT?????? It turns on after you win a couple of sessions. Their software finds out what your "surviving" bankroll is and keeps you glued to that amount, allowing you to win when you get under and rivering you to death when you are winning.

Have you played there recently? On "fast" tables?

Have you played there recently? If not, look at www.pokersitescout.com.
