I made a similar post about one year ago and 6 months ago, and it had a very good response from the forum; you can find it here:

Thread January 2005

Thread July 2005

Since the forum has grown big time since, I thought it would be a good idea to hear from all the present regulars to the forum.

23 years old, born 9/21/82

Grew up in Baltimore, went to college in Chicago, live in Boston now

Living with my girlfriend of 4+ years, no kids (that I know of!)

I run a non-profit organization called the Boston Debate League. It's an occupation in that it occupies my time, not in that it pays me. That's what poker is for. www.bostondebate.org, the website is out of date but there are some pictures of me on there if anyone is curious.

Graduated from University of Chicago with a BA in Philosophy (no wonder I don't have a job) in 2004

I like the Godfather, the Sopranos, Arrested Development, and the Simpsons. As far as music, genre isn't important to me when the song or group is really good, but in general I prefer indie rock, ie Neutral Milk Hotel, the Decemberists, etc.

My first MTT win ever as a $.50 limit tournament, but man was I stoked about that $86. Biggest score is $3750 in the $15K Guarantee on Pacific, but I also won two 180-man SnG's in one day, that was cool, too.

Nice post.

I'm 20, birthday is November 21st.
I live in Jackson New Jersey, it's central jersey, like 15 minutes from the beach, same town as Great Adventure for you roller coaster people, hour-ish from NY and Philly.
I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years
No occupation besides poker at the moment, used to be a "student", but was one by name only. Didn't attend class and got kicked out for having a 0.0GPA. Tried community colelge, but that was a joke, and i held my 0.0 steady. Now taking time off, and if all goes well, won't have to go back.

Movie? hm.. well the answer probably changes with the mood i'm in, but i'm a huge Donnie Darko fan.
As for TV shows, Law and Order (SVU mostly, but toss some CI in there), Family Guy, Futurama, Seinfeld, etc etc.
Music i like quite a bit, like some things from most genre's but i guess my favorite would be ska, like Streetlight Manifesto, I Voted for Kudos. But starting to get into soft-ish rock, big Weezer fan.

Best poker acomplishment? Monthly TLB in September or 14th at EPT dublin. Been playing 'seriously' for 9 months, but overall like 2+ years.

And that's my life story

Looking forward to reading through the post.
