[/ QUOTE ] My family is a lot more traditional than I am. They fast, and resume arguing violently with each other at sundown. Can you honestly tell me that you follow every single tradition to the T? Keeping kosher, no premarital sex, etc... To me it's more important to be a good person in everyday life than follow a prescribed list of rules written thousands of years ago. But that's just me. As you can tell I'm not horribly religious. |

I fasted as I have every year since I was 11.
However, I am on post-surgery medication that I am required to take every morning so I had a sip of water to swallow the pill, which is the first time I have had water during Yom Kippur in 27 years. |
