I love this movie. I did the lip thing for a month after I saw this movie, and he ripped that off from Bogart. It's funny though because he's trying so hard to be cool and he is, but it's all ripped off. Great movie. EDIT: Er...film...

Yeah he's an open admirer of things American in that movie, including Jean Seberg(who isn't!). He loves American icons like Bogey and patterns himself after him, but openly protests how much he hates French icons like Maurice Chevalier. Can't blame him. We got the better end of the deal there.

He would make a good Bond. So would Clive Owen.
After watching Layer Cake, i have to say they made a decent choice with Daniel Craig though.
