How about Gordon asking Scotty why no beer in hand and Scotty saying ESPN took it away from him just before he got on camera? [/ QUOTE ] Yeahhhhh.....wasupwidat?!? Scotty rules. That coverage needed far more lushes. |

the whole final table was pretty entertaining. Unfortunately I sat down after Tech's shoutout, but the highlights for me were:
1) Matusow "are you kidding, I'd play higher" 2) Wasicka showing the pure bluff 3) no one figuring out that JG was telling them what he had every hand 4) Lee calling off his whole stack with JJ |

Also funny, when Matusow claimed to be up 400k for the last 3 days online.

i thought it was really funny when Phil was explaining how it's one two shoot, not one two three shoot, because that European way is ridiculious.

[ QUOTE ] Am I the only one not too impressed with AC's call with A high? Anybody who plays a lot of short-handed poker learns to make A-high calls -- especially on boards like that. Clearly it was a good call, but it wasn't insane. [/ QUOTE ] The insane thing was that he just called with A high knowing it was good. A-high calls are rare for pots like that. Normally youd throw in a raise if you knew he was weak, because even if hes bluffing with a small piece you are beat. [/ QUOTE ] No way buddy. Sometimes you just know A-high is good. Raising often just makes things worse. You're either: 1) right, and he has nothing, so it's pointless 2) right, he has nothing, so he decides to re-raise, and you're finished. 3) wrong, he calls, and you lose more. The 2M bet was just the right size for being a bluff. He either had a pair or he didn't. AC called him down. Nice hand, fine. |
