[/ QUOTE ] Playing to make 10K isn't a bad idea if you only spent a few dollars to get in, and if you don't have the skill level to make a lot of money by deviating from a tight strategy.

Depends on what your stack is like and the composition of your table. And how much you paid to get in. Like damn near everything in poker, it depends on a bajillion variables and the answer isn't the same for everyone.
