I remember reading that an overlooked way to move up at Party is NL25 --> NL100 because NL50 is harder than NL100.
Thoughts? |

how could 25NL be harder than 100NL

[ QUOTE ] how could 25NL be harder than 100NL [/ QUOTE ] I said I read that NL50 is harder than NL100 [/ QUOTE ] It isn't, trust me on this. There are fish everywhere .. so that aside the thing is, that NL50 is a lot tighter and more nitty than 25NL, so especially FR feels like rockcity. At 100NL you again encounter a looser game, so some tend to think, hey .. they are playing loose again, this must be good. But the thing is, that many of these loose player unlike 25NL have no intention of going broke passively. They are much more aggressive than at 25NL and some of them might even laydown TPTK or an overpair if need be. So yes, 100NL is not as dry as 50NL, but on the other hand also more aggressive. All in all it is slightly harder than 50NL. |

Why is 100NL a lot more loose than 50NL do you think?
I don't like the idea of when I move up to 50NL of having no action from looser players, and when I do get a hand, only getting called by rocks in "rockcity" at full ring and it becoming a battle of the luckiest stronger hand... Where do most people find they make most money, at what lower limit? If I put in more hours a day than I do, I'm sure I could make a great deal of money for a side income if not main income, even at the 25NL level, and was hoping I'd be making more with each move up, but playing tighter players at the next level of 50NL has me a bit concerned... OP, great post and good work, this should be linked to from the FAQ or something. |
