You know, like a normal date. I bet if you had, you'd have been up to yer nuts in guts before you can say Robert's yer auntie's live-in lover. I think it's something to do with establishing rapport, making them feel safe and secure with you...before you jump on their bones and defile their little love-chuff with your meat harpoon...
