What does saying something ugly or untrue about Bush have to do with enjoying the death of a loved one?

We're not talking about giving them a free pass. We're talking about somebody saying a person who has lost a loved one is enjoying it. Because they've become politically active on what Coulter sees as the wrong side of the political spectrum does not give Coulter a free pass to say they're enjoying the fact that their husbands were incinerated on 9/11.

Criticize their politics is you disagree with them. Show where their facts are wrong, if they are. Call them stupid. [Just not on this forum [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img].] But what evidence does she have and what right does she have to say that they're enjoying the deaths of their husbands?

No she doesn't. Those you mentioned are just wannabe political experts who spew talking points. Coulter does everythign she can to insult, inflame, and demonize the 'other', liberal or otherwise. Conservatives love to equate her to Fraken and Surandon and Moore, and while she is similarly useless, she's far more acidic.

I don't see anything wrong with a statement like that under certain circumstances. The fact is that the left props up people like Cindy Sheenan so that you can't criticize her without being demonized because she lost a son. As with most things Ann says it is based on truth, and then said in a way that will piss off as many people as possible and get herself as much attention as possible.

And you 100% right about the politics... ie, there are pro-war mothers who speak FOR the war and Bush... she would never accuse them of enjoying the deaths of their kids. Ann is a satirist and a very good one.
Unlike Michael Moore or Al Franken she does not lie. She takes strong opinions and truths and smacks liberals right between the eyes. It is a refreshing to see that some conservatives are willing to fight-fire-with-fire. Ann Coulter has more political courage than anyone I know of in American politics...

In his silly book, Al Franken tried to 'prove' Ann was a liar. His so-called proof was an incoherant mesh of out-of-context quotes. Seriously, I have seen 2-years olds make a more compelling case..... Ann's book will sell millions of copies and deservedly so.
