For the future, if you decide to go with Conjelco again which I personally recommend, a simple email to them after a week is usually all that you need to do. Whether you feel that is unreasonable is up to you, of course.

Thanks, Easy. For the record, I did send a few e-mails, which were not initially returned and, when they were, no one seemed to even think it might be reasonable to go ahead and send the book via UPS like I had paid for, sending it via the US Postal Service instead, resulting in even more delay. Even after contact with Conjelco and my complaint on this board, they still haven't acknowledged that not sending via UPS after learning of the intial problem was a mistake. That's frustrating on top of everything else.

I do understand other people's point that I shouldn't whine since it's just a book. I really wanted the book because I'm going on vacation this week and that was going to be something I was looking forward to having time to read. It's not the end of the world.

I really do hope everyone else got theirs as they wanted, and I hope I'm the anomaly here.

Ok, said I wouldn't say more, so I'm shutting up now.

I ordered May 24 (late night of May 23 really) and still haven't received any part of my order.

Conjelco responded early yesterday morning but all they said was,
"I've requested information from shipping and will get back to you as soon as they respond."

I haven't heard anything more than that.

I ordered from ConJelCo last Thursday after canceling my order with B&N when they changed their availability dates. Got that no-status message on the website. Books shipped Tuesday 6/6 from LV, arrived in Queens today via Priority Mail.

The facts that the prices are competitive ....

Joking?

Amazon : $35.94 including shipping for the two.

Another poster says he was charged $67.10 total by Conjelco.

Applaud supporting those who support this forum, but "competitive"?

I order all of my new 2+2 books from Conjelco to show my appreciation of your support of these forums. The facts that the prices are competitive and that the service is better and faster than Amazon is pure gravy.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can buy No Limit Hold 'em: Theory and Practice on Amazon right now for $17.97. How is Conjelco even close to competive with that price?

Book on Amazon: $17.97

Information and education on 2+2: priceless

I consider buying an occasional book from Conjelco to be in the same catagory as toking a dealer for doing a good job. If you have to be a nit about a few bucks for books or tokes, you can't afford to be playing poker.

"The facts that the prices are competitive and that the service is better and faster than Amazon is pure gravy."

Fact #1: the two books on Amazon: $17.95 x 2
Fact #2: shipping on Amazon is free if you order both books.
Fact #3: I placed the order on Amazon on Monday and got both books on Wednesday.

What's your point again? Toking? Gravy? Say it again?
