steaks, burgers, brauts, beer, Captain Morgans, Jaeger + Red bull, poker, hanging out. Prolly go to a Braves game this weekend at some point, need to check on that. A little yard work, probably on monday.

In other words, the usual.

Memorial Day weekend means one thing and one thing only in this household - the Indy 500, our biggest sporting event of the year.

I went to the Indy 500 in 1998.

Worst sporting event I've ever been to.

Horrible.

Never watched it on tv. Hope you enjoy it.

I hear the same from others who have seen it live. Much better to watch it on TV. (Coverage last year sucked though, with all the Danica hype.)

Going to a German club bier picnic on Sunday. $5 to get in, giant wooden barrels of imported bier. Should be fun.

Thinking about having a BBQ on Monday. Just need to figure out a menu. I try to do something different than the ordinary burgers/dogs/salads.

If you need a fantastic recipe for some BBQ chicken or Ribs PM me....

Marraige Proposal? Congrats, hope it goes well.

No, not as serious as a marriage proposal but it could've led to that & I'm a long term person. I believe every problem has a solution especially when it comes to 2 people that care about each other. I guess the caring & working it out was more 1 sided than I'd let my heart believe. I've been told things could change but I don't know how that could happen. I think this is a train wreck with me as the conductor & my heart won't let me bail.
Yeah, I'll remember this Memorial day. Hope ya'lls weekend turns out better than mine.

Going for a nice 1/4 mile swim in Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Water temp should be just shy of 60F.

It'll be fun if I don't die.
