and as other said above hardly anyone gets cauliflower ear anymore as everyone wears head gear. My dad has some effed up ears, so I always wore my head gear.
I'd be much more worried about getting ringworm or some crap like that from unclean mats. BTW - Jeremy, what sports do or did you play? |

I wish we'd done wrestling at my school. It's not a standard thing in the UK, and I would have liked it, I think. Rugby and Water Polo were my games, but wrestling would have been pretty cool.

Seems like it's either wrestlers that enjoy it and everyone else who doesn't.
Any wrestlers that hated it? Any spectators that like the sport? Personally, I don't understand the real point of it or why they wear retarded uniforms that only accentuate the gayness of the sport. How hard would it have been to make the leg part longer and the top look like a shirt instead of suspenders? |

I am the master of Greco Roman wrestling. My wife didn't understand the joy i felt from bringing down a husky man like Bryan and pinning him to the ground until he squirms and squeals like a little piglet.
Not being on the wrestling team and yet noticing the guys on the wrestling team at all might be a key point being overlooked here. |

Stuey.
how could I not have noticed them what with them wearing their "uniforms" to school on the days when there was a meet? Surely you must remember how weird it was to stand in line in the cafeteria next to some dude with [censored] up ears and nothing but a unitard on. |

Say what you want about the OP, but wrestlers are weird dudes.
And I don't mean to take shots with gay comments, but the relationships between teammates that I saw were unusual to say the least. |

All,
also were the wrestlers at your schools always selling [censored] like candy bars and soda in order to raise funds for the squad or perhaps mats? I don't remember the football, basketball, baseball or hell even soccer teams having to do that. Probably another reason for the chip we are seeing in this thread. |
