6max is def. less stressful and the swings are less extreme. and long-term i think an improving 6-max game is more profitable then heads up as it's much easier to transition from 6-max to heads up then the other way.

although i think heads up can be more profitable right now.

matthew, best bet is probably to mix your play..

i dont know how many tables you normally play 6 max, but if it's 4+, i'd suggest starting with like 2 hu tables and maybe 2 6 max tables...or just only hu tables till you get used to playing multiple hu tables.

i would 4-6 table 100 and 200nl hu, but at 2/4+ I try to keep it at no more than 4. Today I had 5 going at one point...but a few tables were against shorties so you dont have to focus as much as you would with a full stack.

and jeff's thoughts are good.

i personally enjoy hu more but it can be very frustrating and tilt inducing if you dont know how to deal with big swings...but if you are, meh, tilt shouldn't be a big issue.

i agree that 6 max is def less stressful. however, i think that heads up play is more profitable, and will continue to be. a good player has such an edge in hu. personally ton of hu puts me on life tilt, so i mainly play 6 max. if you are sick at hu and don't tilt i'd stick with hu.

thanks easy, Im actually beating 5-10 HU, im not trying to start fresh at hu at all. Im trying to decided if I will make more money playing 5-10 HU or 6max; and which will lead to a more profitable place later on also.

because I feel like playing both is holding me back a bit as far as really getting good at one or the other
