Does anyone know anything about soros? Is this standard against him??? no history this table.

My DB is gone, but if I remember correctly I had one hand that went like this:

Soros limps UTG, TAGgy SB raises, I call in BB with AKo, Soros limp-reraises pot, SB calls, I shove, he calls with 44, SB folds.

So yeah, he spews when tilting. Don't know about his normal game.

I did a month trip through Paris, Amsterdam, Chamonix, Geneve, Rome, Zurich, Florence, Munich, Athens (and a lot of small, really cool, places in Greece).

I was more concerned with doing cool things (I went with 5 friends). I'd recommend going to places like Meteora, Greece to see the ridiculous monistaries in the mountains, and Chamonix, France, to take the Augilee Di Midi (i dont speak/spell in french) over the apls (it's a SICK serious of about 5 gondolas that take you all the way into italy).

And, my number one favorite place/recommendation would be the Cinque Terre on the Italian Riveria. Just amazing scenery, people, things to do. It's not touristy AT ALL, compared to much of the rest of europe which means you get some of the best experiences of your life.

Oh, and Oktoberfest. Nothing better than those huge glasses of beer for 7 euros and then going on lots of rides that spin you around and fling you fast up and down.

thats his normal game.

i think he just tries to makes sicko reads, calls and bluffs. particularly against regulars.

this is how my hands go with him.

he raises, i three bet, he calls. he bets the flop i raise with whatever i decided to raise him with, he folds...

Leave it to mr. philosophy to challenge me. although i would have expected something more along the lines of the socratic method where you state how wonderfully articulated my points are before asking me to question them.

but ya, i get your point

I think I'd be staying in Prague for about two weeks. Unless the trains are super fast it's still probably a 6+ hour train ride to the "close" cities like Budapest/Vienna/Warsaw, let alone somewhere like Greece or Italy, so I'd probably only be getting away to other places maybe a couple times.

Goofy, there is a place in Marin, north of the bay, that I love going to for a breakfast wrap. I get this in mine:

eggs
salsa
big pieces of bacon
potatoes
cheese

and I don't think, for my tastes/money, it could get any better.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny you mention that, I grew up in Mill Valley. Where at?

Which is a better deal the Platinum level program on Poker Stars or 27% Rakeback on Full Tilt?

[/ QUOTE ]

27% RB, and it's not close. IIRC Platinum is like 19% RB in our games. Even Supernova is only about 25%, maybe.

Goofy,

My best girlfriend lives in Novato and I'm out there about once a month to 'visit'. So the place is in Novato, it's called Java Grill and is a small little place in a strip mall that makes really great wraps and smoothies. It's been there for like 15 years apparently. The model I described is the commuter wrap.
