I hate this long field goals with time on the clock, you give up so much field position when you miss, and you miss more than 50% of the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Totally agree, and the difference between being up 10 and 7 is sooooo much bigger than 13-10.

[/ QUOTE ]

How so? Even if he misses 55% it has to be +ev.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because if you make it you are still up two scores either way, and if you miss there is a great chance of being up only 1 score when you forced 4 to's in first half.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK IMO that is just nonsense. 1possession/2possessions... who cares about # of possessions at this point? You're acting like there's 5 minutes left.

[/ QUOTE ]

I lol at you then. Bills are huge underdogs, bigtime talent difference and are playing an undefeated team that scores a ton of points. The WORST possible thing you could do there is send them into halftime with momentum and only down 1 touchdown when they threw 4 picks, 2 of which were td's. The difference between a 10 point lead there and a 7 point lead is so huge compared to the difference between a 10 point lead and a 13 point lead.

Especially when you consider it was a career long kick, whats his percentage there? 35 percent? HORRIBLE decision, and if you think the difference between being up 1 score and 2 scores isn't a big deal then you obv know nothing about football.

Being only down one score is a huge victory for Dallas going into half when your offense gave up 14 points.

Do you go for it on 4th&10 in the 2nd Qtr down 13 because "you're still down 2 scores" w/ a FG?

[/ QUOTE ]

This analogy has nothing to do with the situation we are talking about.

I hate to say it, but our offense is still pretty [censored]. Edwards has looked pretty good, but they aren't scoring. That must change and soon. At the very least, we need a few more of those 9 min drives.

Romo should stay in. They're only down by 7.

well, so far so good...although the Bills should have been able to convert 4 turnovers into SOME FREAKIN' POINTS besides a FG.

I did call this yesterday, though.

Go Bills!

I guess I know nothing about football then. I don't think we were going to win 17-14 against "a team that scores a ton of points".
