But with huge blinds and 280k or so in before the flop, and an open push on the flop, its hard to say her range was limited to a queen. Not sure what Phils stack was at before the flop

Her push made it look like she was defending a weaker hand than she had, making Hellmuth willing to call with "only" middle pair.

coldcalling preflop and pushing your top pair has to be less than optimal
other than check-folding the flop I don't think there's a worse way to play it
