3. Cheaters, colluders, bots, are much easier to spot and report with hand histories that have player names. Online poker players self police themselves to a large extent, now this is next to impossible on wpex. [/ QUOTE ] This has pretty much gone overlooked by the people at WPX and is hard to overstate. I'm talking specifically about collusion. I don't trust any site to take action against anything that isn't obvious collusion. With PT I can protect myself. |

LOOK what every limit you play there are only like 50 different players. You would catch on quick if there was any monkey business going on. I havent seen any and I play 50 hours a week.

Paper check via FEDEX. Your experience was my experience with them in the past. I get the impression that there customer service means well, but....... Hopefully, I'll see mine today or so.

Yeah, I've noticed these little rakeback and session blips too, but they've always fixed themselves. I'm not computer saavy so I can't even fathom what could possibly be going on, but alls well that ends well. When the blip happens, and the money stays gone, I'll worry.

[/ QUOTE ] Last week in a micro level NL game, one guy was coaching his friend. I went all in and got HU against "player 4" who typed "55?" in the chat. I thought he was guessing what I had, but then "player 1" typed "yes", and #4 called me. #4 had pocket 55. He was asking #1 if he should call me with 55. Several times when #4 was facing an all-in, he typed his hole cards and #1 said yes or no. I was too surprised at this blantant coaching to write down their names, and obviously can't pull them out of my hand history. |

I have only made a withdrawal via check from Fed Ex, but tried a check via regular mail this time...this was on the 22nd and I've yet to see the check. I figure it may be another week or so...right? Just looking for some assurance I guess. Thanks folks.

Just looking for some assurance I guess. Thanks folks. [/ QUOTE ] jev, In my experience, mailed checks regularly take about five weeks. None have arrived inside of 30 days. Also, it is a very low profile piece of mail that might get confused for junk mail if you were not careful. Be very thorough in opening generic looking mail for the next little while. Lastly, for anyone getting a mailed check, it may make sense for you to request an amount that will be distinct. Instead of requesting, for instance $1000, you might want to request $1002.37 so you can verify that it is your WPX check. The source is not identified on the check or envelope. Of course if you don't have a lot of random checks coming in, this may not be an issue. |
