Click on the chips and then click on "silent".

I guess I have the "lite" edition of PokerStars software. That option is grayed out for me.

The chat box is horrible and needs an overhaul. Why are there no options for it? Why is every comment, no matter who makes it, preceded by Dealer: ?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is because you're using PokerOffice, not because of a flaw in the PokerStars client. The "dealer" preceding the chat (as well as the absence of the normal colorization, etc) is due to a bug in PokerOffice trying to usurp control of the chat window.

The authors of Poker Office are aware of this and are working on a fix
but no release date has been estimated by them.

How about referral bonuses? I know at least one person who will likely sign up for a new account thanks to these changes.

Add more payment (cashout) options!!! Your payment options right now are geared mostly towards Americans [and soon even the people from the US might not be able to use them]. There are a great number of players outside of the US that cannot use neteller, firepay, central coin or any of the other cash out options that your offer (depositing is possible but what's the point of putting money in if you cannot take it out in any way other than via a paper check). WHY NOT OFFER OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS LIKE MONEYBOOKERS, CLICK2PAY,...? It will most probably help a bit to diversify the player base and I am not sure, but I am going to guess that the benefits of adding more payment options far outweigh the costs. I never thought that I would give Party as a good example about anything, but they do offer almost all payment options out there and I believe that has somehting to do with their ability to recruit very well abroad...
Just a suggestion.

It's my understanding that at least one of these is being worked on.

If they are really working on more payment options, that is great [both for us the players and for themselves]. During the present uncertain times in the US and with poker gaining popularity abroad, I think now is crucial to take a more proactive approach, rather than a reactive one [ex. add more payment options now and not when half of them become unusable, advertise and recruit more abroad...]. IMHO these things need the site's immediate attention a little more than other less significant technical issues [ex. chat options].

From what I hear, Stars already has a great site and a great organization, now if they can only repeat some of the things that Party did right when they were the market leader - accessibility, aggressive advertising and recruiting, innovative promotional activities...

Just brainstorming here.

Default Time for \"Sit-Outs\"

1) Thanks for all the changes!!!

2) I would like to see the amount of time a player can "sit-out" reduced. It seems, on the 6 max tables, you'll get someone who will start sitting out for a long time, then someone else leaves.... It just takes one more to leave and the tables tends to break down. 5 minutes before your seat is forfeited? Something like that.

I understand you need a bathroom break, etc, it just seems some people will sit-out for dinner & desert & sex and then a cigarette.

3) Thanks again!
