This is the truth. Party, Stars, etc. exposing these cheaters does NOT improve their images with anyone but serious players, such as 2+2ers. The average joe's, who we need, will be turned OFF not ON if they hear about this.

I played live with a bunch of dudes Fri. night. General consensus about online poker? Rigged. No one thinks other players are cheating them, just the site. And I know a few others who do ok live but lose online who are pretty sure it's bots.

Have all you idiots who are posting "hey, let's have a freeroll with the money and let everyone on Party know what happened!" even thinking with 1/3rd your brain?

Role-reversal time. You are Party Poker, you make many simoleons through mostly recreational play from U.S. players.

The LAST friggin' thing you want to do is put out in big bold letters:

HEY EVERYONE, WE FOUND A CHEATER OR TWO AND CONFISCATED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND WE'RE GIVING IT BACK TO YOU, THE PLAYERS!

Reasons why:

1. This will awaken the majority of players to the reality that there are online cheats, and likely more than just these two. (most of the players online likely have zero clue about this situation, they aren't 2+2ers or reading up on this stuff, why would Party want the negative publicity?)

2. Many players would worry that they "might" be accused of cheating and have their funds seized, and thus would leave the site and withdraw their funds (which is also a possibility because they fear being cheated)

It's in Party's best interests (and our own actually) to be as hush-hush about this as possible.

I don't know, I think average people are afraid of cheating in general. You really think that knowing that the sites have caught a few and banned them will hurt? At least it shows that the sites have something in place to catch and deal with cheaters. Its hard to put yourself in the place of joe shmo fish, but I can't see this.

Every day I log in and hope against hope for an update to ZeeJustin.com.

I'm with you.....I can't wait to see his page updated. I just have no idea what to expect. Does he act like nothing happened? Does he try to explain himself? Will he never update the site again? So many questions.....

I pretty much have skimmed this whole thread, and even I have no idea what ZJ will say if/when he updates his website.

All,

This is an over looked factor. Even if ZJ was paying taxes on all of these winnings, its possible that he has been paying them in 6 different names, which would make his taxes signifcantly less then they should be because of the escalating tax rate.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you saying ZJ also has 6 SSN#? Although possible and is being done, he would really be stepping on the toes of the Feds. Could be the dumbest of the dumb ideas.

Hooray! I finally finished reading this thread (which I started last month).

I'm glad to see that:

-all accusations have been answered
-all disputes have been resolved
-all legal arguments have been ruled on
-a moral standard has been established and accepted by all
-poker sites are now secure to play on
-the world is happy again

Any recommendations on what to read next?
