you can either just run the script by simply double clicking it, or you can right click and select compile. this will create an exe that you can just run. thats how it worked for me anyways

I think I fixed this bug... You can either do the copy&paste thing or edit manually if you're using some modified version (it's about line 1226 - I marked it with some "################").

[ QUOTE ] I'm again trying to start iWitness. I have downloaded autohotkeys and saved iWitness(using windows explorer) under iWitness.ahk. When I double click on it it opens as a text doc only. MS Sunshine [/ QUOTE ] I am having a similar problem. I have the script saved as iwitness.ahk. It even shows the AHK icon for the iwitness file, but when I double click it I get the "Open with" window which asks what program I want to use to open the file, then when I browse and select AHK it just goes back to the "Open With" window acting as if I didn't make a selection Can anyone help? [/ QUOTE ] When you right-click on the icon (the red "H" on grayish background) you should get a menu where the first option is "Run Script". Is this the case? If yes, try that. |

As I was writing a post on this forum, iWitness happened to need to go through the tables. As it did this, I clicked on the "post" area to finish the post. Suddenly this was written there: 107599Table 107599Table 107582Table 107582Table 107582Table 107582Table 107582Table 107588Table 107588Table 107588Table 107588Table 107588Table 107594Table 107594Table 107594Table 107594Table 107594Table 107609Table 107609Table 107609Table 107609Table 107609 Of course I don't plan on datamining when using the computer normally, I just got the program and was testing it. If I do have iWitness running while I use the computer I guess I just have to take a short brake when it needs to search for tables. So no problems, I just wanted to let this know, if it wasn't know already. Peter [/ QUOTE ] To everybody: If this is a problem for you, turn off "Safe mode". Experiment gone bad... |

[/ QUOTE ] It sounds like the settings didn't properly apply to Windows to make your AHK scripts auto-execute when you double-click. You might find it works if you re-install AHK so that it can set up the associations properly - and make sure you turn off any security software which might be meddling with the installer while you run the install. |

Question that may have been asked and answered somewhere, but I haven't found it.
When I run iWitness, it opens PP, starts searching for the limit I specified by scrolling down the list and attempts to open tables. Sometimes it stops on a table that qualifies according to the parameters I set up, but then skips it without opening it. I looked at the log file and it says that it "sent table #x", but the response is "checking table #y". This results in it scanning through the whole list of tables, but only opening a couple. It seems as though after it's found a couple of tables initially, it starts skipping the rest. I looked briefly at the code, but don't feel like interpreting the whole thing as I'm not up to speed on all of the AHK functions. Can someone tell me what's going on? TIA. |

Try leaving PartyPoker with the tables sorted by name.
If you sort them by players or average pot or something like that, then when Party updates the numbers, it shuffles the table order, which can confuse iWitness. It can still get confused if Party adds or removes a table in the middle of the list, but that's not as bad. |

I just installed Iwitness. When i run it autohotkey.exe eats all my cpu power after a few minutes. this also happens w/o FPHG running. the number of tables open does not matter.
any help greatly appreciated, |
