Lol bro I knew that was coming but left that phrasing in anyway. Now you mean to say you've never seen 'you' used in a general sense to refer to all people?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, I just automatically get defensive because the majority of this thread disagrees with me, and that little proverb seemed personal.

P.S. BBV is so tongue-in-cheek it's ridiculous. Only the people that burn money in front of homeless people don't realize this. I still can't believe you did that.

Once again, the guy deserved it.
I explained it above, but how about I just claim that he was a multiaccounter. Then he definitely deserves to be spited! Right!?

can't break a -25% ROI in a tourney lineup that is stars 50r, 109r, 215r, 1k tues, ftp 1k monday

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh, I don't play most of those because they are full of your cheating friends playing multiple accounts. But I'm pretty sure at the time I stopped playing the 109R I had a pretty good ROI, as you can check easily (pretty sure with just the consecutive weeks I took 1st and 5th? in the Sunday 109R is enough).

[ QUOTE ]
Even after all of this, if we bet a substantial amount of money, you could hire a MTT pro to play on your account

[/ QUOTE ]

Lol, Is it not ironic you're worried about this, when it's precisely one of the reasons some of you and your friends have pretty inflated ROI's (not to mention dumb luck of course)

And why do you need many conditions? If I'm in fact a terrible player you should be happy to do the bet and accomodate me as much as you can the way we do when we recognize a fish.

Probably you just need to STFU

I think it takes years of discipline and a fairly strong philosophical regimen before you get to the point where walking in the park is sweeter than hitting the strip club

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh, it took me one time and one time. Where is gobbomon telling you shouldn't pretend your morals apply to everybody?

[/ QUOTE ]

right here, reading everyone's opinions. I've already gone through enough crap in my life to know that simpler is better, but I don't have a problem observing everyone else in the process of learning this for themselves.
You can impart all the wisdom in the world to somebody, but it really means nothing to them until they experience it for themself.
Thus, Gobbomom's morals may not apply to someone else who is in the process of learning an important life lesson, and formulating their own moral code which works for them.
If it doesn't work for them, they'll find out soon enough for themself: poof, lesson learned.

I'll do cliff notes for those that didn't see entire exchange.

stealthmunk: Sirio11 sucks at poker.
sirio11: No I don't I'll do better than -50% Prop bet!
stealthmunk: Nah, you are prob closer to -25%, but we'd have to do stipulations so you can't angle, and play the tougher tourneys, and play a big enough sample, and didn't cheat me by having someone else play on your account.
sirio11: HAHA THOSE TOURNEYS ARE FILLED WITH U AND UR CHEATER FRIENDS IMAGINE ME PLAYING THEM! LOL IRONY AT ITS FINEST DEGREE SIRIO11 WINS AGAIN.

Don't forget if you aren't up against the multiaccounters you are up againt literally LEGIONS of staked players and their backers.

The 50/180's are probably easier in that repsect although a lot less alluring

actually I didn't have a problem with that line of his, assuming he meant 'mostly' from material possessions.

[/ QUOTE ]

And the thing is Funkii, I think it's kind of obvious he meant that. And I don't know why you and especially stealth cherrypick and attack the obvious. I'm pretty sure everybody here understand that you need money to eat and to buy a home. That is not the essence of the discussion, but I think you already knew this.
