So after going on a 7 buy-in downswing (not trying to "brag" about that) I decided to give NLCASH a shot, playing 40BB stacks at .5/1 ... three days later and ...



Well lets say I'm quite happy, and I'm probably not playing many more $6.25s with my now $500 BR ... or not playing much more NLTRN for that matter.

Yeah ... technically had 10 buy-ins when I started, but from what I've seen/read a lot of the NLCASH players are terrible. I got a good stroke of luck in not being unlucky and starting off on an upswing rather than a downswing =).

lol you probably have >50% ror with 40bb...

20bb is a little better, people play terrible against 20bb stacks too

edit: i won back my 500 that i tilted away, i still can't believe i did that i'm so mad at myself.

some fun things today, misclicked called and ai with J3o.

got AI with the best hand against the same guy every other time for a total of 7 times. i won 2. (fortunetly the last two so i busto'd him)

played 2 very long matches against two decent players. one guy was vvv nutpedally and started coolering me so bad. he ended up $80 but at his peak was up $200. weird how fast he leaks away money when he can't hit set/overpair, set/set, two pair/two pair.. i started getting un focussed but he "over adjusted" to me and started floating two streets. i probably shoulda stayed but i was getting tired.

the other guy was adjusting kinda slow but wasn't playing bad. my edge wasn't very good after rake and i should have left but i just doubled through him and don't like to hit and run like that. i remember the stacks at 150/275 at one point. later in the match (when i decided to leave) the stacks were 155/245. really sucks to get eaten by rake like that.

I played 8 hours of Stud Razz O8 and LHE hu sngs today and loved every moment of it.
EDIT: Except the Razz that sucked hard.
