They really need to change that rule. Ball should not be able to be advanced by a fumble, period.

[/ QUOTE ]

What is your reasoning behind this?

I would argue that it shouldn't be able to be advanced either way then. Just whoever gets the fumble..they get the ball back where it was spotted.....Seriously, why would you argue for that?

WTF. Peyton gets to the playoffs and suddenly he's dancing around in the pocket and making every throw off his back foot.

Will the Pats lose a fumble and
lose it: +300
recover for 1st down: +110
recover for TD: -999

I agree, with the only exception being if the balls is fumbled before the line of scrimmage.

I didn't mean the offense can't pick it up and run with it. What I meant is no holy roller type play where you fumble and recover in the endzone for a TD. I don't believe the offense should be able to benefit so greatly from a mistake. Touchdowns should be earned.

one of the strangest posts I've ever read over at FBGs:

I'm a lifelong Colts fan. I just can't help feeling like one the Russians in the crowd in Rocky IV. I don't want to feel this way but for some reason I am swaying with the Pats....Go Brady!!

Don't be scared of the bridge jumper there. I've got a feeling that it's a LEAD PIPE LOCK.
