[/ QUOTE ] But if you were watching and saw 157,678 and then saw 167,123 would you say "I saw bankroll before and after and they were definitely over 9750 apart" or would you say "I saw bankroll before and after and they were about 10K apart but I can't be sure they were over 9750 apart"? My point is that if they say something like "Yeah, it was 10K" I agree that's not that convincing. But what if they come on and say "It was exactly 40K because he had just deposited the day before after busting his account completely last week. At the end it was definitely 50.2K." There is no room for error or confusion there...

agreed on that point. then it is up to the credibility of the witnesses (i don't think they have any reason to lie, but if i were rolen i'm not sure i'd be happy with that level of proof, esp seeing as the terms of the bet were to do with pt stats and dataminer stats).

Fun thread... Anywho, PT could easily not import 7 hands during a 2500 hand session, stuff like that happens to me all the time and i know it messes up my data. It doesn't mean Good2cu was/is lying about it.
One reason that this bet is kind of silly is because if the bet is whether he won $9750 or more (i forget what the minimum qualifier for TWP to win was) i would be surprised if any of the players sweating saw if the balance was 200, 162.32 ot 200,876.45 to start the session. No one has to be lying to for this to [censored] things up. Also, i don't think it has been pointed out enough that the data with MORE hands should have more weight than the other data, it is more likely to be complete whereas the other one obviously cannot be. Going from the information in this thread, if anyone is winning this bet right now it's Rolen. Good2cu gave data that shows him up a little over 10k and it's obviously missing hands that include losses over 10k. (not saying he was aware that PT missed hands) That said, i don't think Rolen should win this bet based on that, contact DitMeMay or someone else who datamines and see if two corresponding pieces of data can be found. If not then call a push or whatever. Also, i think both Rolen and TWP have handled themselves well in this thread and not gotten heated about anything. Rolen has taken too much [censored] IMO, but he also could have made his points without being as accusatory towards g2cu and implicating that he meant to misrepresent the results.
