The reason she cancelled is her uncle passed away and she's spending time with her family...but she called me back immediately after and asked if we could meet for a couple hours for coffee and her mom would watch her son. So I finally got to meet her. She's very nice, and we actually have a lot of common. Really cute too.

This started because of a bizarre date I had planned with one of the most unique people I have ever met...uh...talked to over Myspace. It then degenerated into a "how many girls will stand up kyro" kind of deal. I'm pretty excited that this girl hasn't stood me up yet. Cut me some slack, huh?

Went out to Olive Garden last night with a couple friends who are dating. Had a really nice time until she got really sick before the food got there. In her defense, I wasn't feeling 100% myself. Think it may have been something in the air.

Anyways, she came over for an hour tonight. KM got to meet her. Don't worry, I know you are all desperate for updates so I will provide them.

Update:

My parents left on a cruise Saturday for two weeks. So, I had a bunch of people over Saturday night for scrabble and hot cocoa. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.

Anyways, I invited her over to meet a bunch of my friends that haven't met her yet, as it's going pretty well with us.

She never showed. Never called. Never answered my calls.

Apparently, she was visiting her friend in the hospital who had been in ICU after being struck by a car. She was walking in the parking lot and...yep, you guessed it, was struck by a car.

She's OK, no broken bones or internal damage, but she stayed at the hospital overnight as a precaution. This poor girl has gone through a lot of crap since meeting me.
