Just to point out, travelling due east at the south pole would keep the boat moving in circles.

I liked how nobody really seemed pissed at Michael for murdering two people in cold blood. Jack was just trying to find out what he knew. I was suprised Hurley and Sawyer didn't shoot him dead there but they just kept walking right into a trap.
