The good news is that Toronto is ahead of Seattle 7-5 in the 9th. The bad news is the Mariners have the bases loaded with just one out. Hopefully Kennedy gives a good performance tomorrow and the offense gives him plenty of support.

I am really worried about hughes. he should be owning teams like this by now. obv, being rushed in april, coming back from injury isn't easy, but he is better tha his last few starts.

Yeah, Hughes was great against Cleveland a couple week ago and hasn't done much else since coming off the injury. But they need him to do well down the stretch, especially in his next start against Seattle.

btw, Toronto held on to send the Mariners to their 7th straight loss and Baltimore held on to beat Boston, so no ground was lost today. Detroit is still playing.

I keep hearing in regards to Hughes that he only has two pitches and if the curve isn't hitting he is FUBAR. That he needs a solid #3 pitch which i assume would be change etc.
