Question: Should I sell my car?

It's a 2005 Saab 9-3 Arc and it was a certified pre-owned. It's worth a nice sum of money and under warrenty for 3 more years. I know NOTHING about cars, so I wouldn't feel safe buying a used one unless it was a certified pre-owned, so if I sold it I would probably just end up getting a new kia/saturn/honda/toyota that came with a nice warranty.

more info:
I don't need the money
I don't drive much (I've put 4k miles on it in 6 months)
It sits outside in the weather (I live in MN)

So, stay with the sexy fast car or sell and buy something cheaper, more practical and less expensive?

[/ QUOTE ]

How much you selling it for?

Question was should I sell it. As for how much, as much as I can get (KBB lists it as $26,000 but I am pretty sure it's worth more because it has 3 more years of dealer warranty since it's a certified pre-owned car)

I sent this to Kolo's sister on Facebook:

Kolo said there's been a bit of a gay controversy surrounding him; fortunately, I happen to know that he's in love with a girl in Florida, so at the very worst he's bi-curious.

If it's all paid off why would you sell it for a crappier car? Just to save on gas or something? Keep the car.

I drive about 20 miles a week now, no joke. It sits outside in the snow/rain/sun. Being a newish luxury car it probably depreciates quicker than it should. So I just thought downgrading to something cheaper would be smart because I feel like I'm wasting the car by not driving it.

Like I said I know nothing about cars- apparently I don't even know if I should keep them or sell them. Good thing I know some stuff about other things I guess.

Delta,

I have never driven a 'luxury' car. Cars are a horrible investment. They lose value very quickly and the most expensive they are, the more they cost to maintain. Since you don't care about the status aspects of luxury car ownership, then I suggest you sell this one and buy something nice that meets your needs.

You will most likely save a decent amount of $$$ on insurance and maintenance by purchasing a cheaper car.

Forshizzle....... Put your money in houses not cars... once you have two houses or more, then start buying luxuray cars..

But then again, don't take it from me, I'm a poor SSNL Grinder!!!

Time to get my game on...

By the way boys.... I ran a program called "Lavasoft Ad-aware SE personal" which I downloaded off download.com..... my comp is running like 2X faster, and the internet is speedy again..

WEWT! Ship it.
