No. They DID hang onto his money.

They deducted the cost of the transfer back to FTP from his MGR (sites pay fees when you deposit with an ewallet) as if it was a normal deposit and not a deposit done to correct FTP's mistake. This reduced the amount of rakeback he received or was going to receive from FTP.

The player didn't pay any fees, FTP did. FTP then passes along these fees to the player by deducting it from rakeback payments.

Based on the responces in the thread, this is a very common problem at FTP and one which requires considerable effort to get corrected.

Huh?

Full Tilt has always deducted transfer fees from MGR. They do this to everybody, not just him.
