Nice....I had Mankins scoring first!

[/ QUOTE ]

You must have gotten good odds on that prop bet. 3:1?

[/ QUOTE ]

Was it really Brown who knocked the ball out of the pile? Somebody on the Pats made a great play in that pile.

They really need to change that rule. Ball should not be able to be advanced by a fumble, period.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree, with the only exception being if the balls is fumbled before the line of scrimmage.

I hate how they're showing Manning on the bench already. He's done nothing but throw a beautiful pass down the sideline that was dropped.

[/ QUOTE ]
That pass was overthrown and it was only 3rd and 3 so he didn't need to take such a risk downfield to succeed on that play.

[/ QUOTE ]

The pass should have been caught, easily. He had a mismatch and made the correct read and throw.

[/ QUOTE ]I have tivo and just rewatched it....the ball is overthrown. He dives and still only gets his fingertips on it. I can't see how you can say that should've been caught.

Yes, he did have a mismatch- defenses will usually give up a deep mismatch to a RB when its only 3rd and 3 becuase they're guarding against the 3.
